Technology Entrepreneurship

Technology entrepreneurs develop and merchandise innovative products and services and have an important role for a country's economic development.

The competence center's mission is to conduct scientific research and consulting projects with regard to elements and conditions of the entrepreneurial process, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Aside of the recognition and evaluation as basis for opportunity exploitation, our work is especially focused on the problems arising within the fund-raising of high-tech start-ups.

Objectives of the Competence Center Technology Entrepreneurship are the investigation of entrepreneurial problems of high scientific and practical relevance, publication of research results in leading international journals, as well as the advancement of the conditions for technology start-ups. To further these endeavors, the competence center maintains multiple affiliations with international researchers and research institutes in the field of entrepreneurship research.
