The Research Lab is led by Dr. Marcus M. Keupp. Its mission is to produce research that is both rigorous from a methodological point of view and relevant to both academia and the business community. Its research in international business, innovation, international entrepreneurship, and appropriation is published in top-tier journals. The Lab focuses on the quantitative analysis of large data sets, but also does theory-generating inductive studies on interesting new phenomena. Its projects portfolio comprises basic research projects funded by the University of St. Gallen and the Swiss National Funds, as well as collaboration projects with the Swiss Federal Government national and supranational institutions such as the European Patent Office.
