The Institute of Technology Management is made up of four chairs.

Entrepreneurship - Prof. Dr. Dietmar Grichnik

The chair focuses its research and teaching on entrepreneurial thinking and acting. In addition, we encourage and support entrepreneurs at the HSG in making entrepreneurial decisions.

Innovation Management - Prof. Dr. Oliver Gassmann

The chair is dedicated to leading innovation research by combining rigor and relevance. We focus our research activities on management of innovation by exploring patterns of innovation.

Operations Management - Prof. Dr. Elgar Fleisch

Devoted to the Internet of Things

The chair of Operations Management pursues consequently the strategy started 10 years ago: We investigate and create the merge of the digital and the physical world in a business economic context. 

Production Management - Prof. Dr. Thomas Friedli

The chair of Production Management supports industrial organizations in multiple sectors and regions in their strategic planning and implementation of improvement initiatives.
